A SHORT BACKGROUND
Luisa Mantelli lives and creates in New York City, and is currently pursuing an MFA in Textiles at Parsons School of Design.
She explores the relationships between humanity and the natural world. Working with crochet, knit, embroidery, weave, felt, and natural dyes, her creations invite people to think on how environments shape and transform us, and conversely, how human actions influence the space we inhabit.
